Colombia and Venezuela to build railroad

Uribe proposed the construction of two lines. One from Venezuela through Colombia’s eastern plains to finish in Ecuador, the other to the Caribbean coast.Uribe said that he would sign his commitment when meeting Chávez on july 11 in Caracas and intents to try to start the construction of the railway this year.
