Colombia and Ecuador agree on border security

The meeting, held behind closed doors in the the Panamanian capital was endorsed by the Organization of American States (OAS). In an OAS statement, issued after the meeting, the interamerican organization said both delegations “agree to restore their force temporarily.”The OAS said that the agreement is provisional, until both governments agree to re-establish diplomatic relations.Colombia’s other neighbor, Panamá,  announced a few days ago it would also enforce its border with Colombia to combat the smuggling of cocaine and weapons over its jungle border. The Panamanian government said it would create a special 200-men army force to take over border patrol from the Police.
