Colombia and Bolivia draw in friendly

The Colombian national soccer team drew its first friendly on the road to the 2014 World Cup, 1-1 in and against Bolivia.

With this year’s World Cup in the past, a large amount of national teams used Wednesday’s FIFA date to begin their preparation for future qualification campaigns.

Colombia, for the first time led by Hernan Dario ‘Bolillo’ Gomez, chose the height of Bolivian capital La Paz to test its abilities and shape.

Things looked good for the Colombia at the half time whistle as Carlos Bacca headed the visitors to a 0-1 lead in the 37th minute, doing so from a corner kick.

But Bolivia would not give up and got the equalizing goal through Roberto Galindo in the 64th minute, for a 1-1 final score.
