Collapsing wall kills student

A wall that collapsed inside a school in the north Colombian town of Soledad killed one student and injured another twelve.

The wall collapsed because students on their lunch break were leaning against it. The wall was in poor condition, couldn’t take the pressure and collapsed.

The 15-year-old Cesar Cardona was killed when the wall came down. His fellow students were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The rector of the school was taken to the same hospital after the news caused him to have a nervous breakdown.
