Chocoanos sing about how happy they are with Obama

Artists from Chocó, the most western Department of Colombia, recorded a song about how happy they are with incoming U.S. President Barack Obama.

Unlike Shakira, musical group Bocachico wasn’t invited to Obama’s inauguration party Sunday, but this doesn’t spoil their joy about him taking office Tuesday. They recorded a song ‘Con Obama Presidente, muy contenta está la gente’ (With Obama as President, the people are very happy).

The typically Chocoano song, rhythmically and happily praises the new U.S. President and expresses the group’s joy about his election.
