Chávez offers to help Sarkozy finding Betancourt

Chávez says the current French mission to find Betancourt and to offer her the necessary medical help is “extremely complicated”. Chávez says he also suggested talking to the United States President George W. Bush to get his cooperation releasing 500 imprisoned guerrillas, so that they can be swapped for 39 hostages, including Betancourt.”President Sarkozy will tell President Bush he is part of this. I recommended Sarkozy to talk to him, because Bush could do a lot,” Chávez said.”We are ready to support the humanitarion mission as always, but of course the situation is very difficult.”
