Cartagena ready for its International Music Festival

Cartagena is finishing up preparations for its third annual International Music Festival, a full week of classical music starting Saturday.

The festival, starting Saturday, invited classical performers from all over the globe. A total of 21 concerts will be held on some of the city’s most beautiful locations.

The days before the  festival the performers will take their instruments to the barrios of the colonial city and show their art to the locals. Music teachers and students from all over Colombia will give classes.
