Cartagena’s Hay Festival to host nobel prize winners

Among a list of other prominent arts figures, Cartagena’s annual Hay Festival will proudly present two of Literature’s Nobel Prize winners in January.

Both Mario Vargas Llosa of Peru and Herta Muller from Romania, Literature Nobel Prize laureates will be hosted at the Hay Festival’s elaborate mix of “literature, visual arts, cinema, music, geopolitics, journalism, the environment… all going together with dialogue and celebration,” boasts the event’s website.

The monumental festival that promotes culture and social responsibility will be held in the Caribbean beach town of Cartagena from January 24-27 of next year.
