Bomba Estereo and Puerto Rico’s Cultura Profetica are among the bands in store for the 2010 Reggae and Caribbean Festival in Medellin on Saturday 6 June.

The festival, which begins at 3PM on Saturday, is being held at the Rodeo Club in Guajabal Park and promises to offer “strength in music, rhythm, poetry and feelings.”

Bomba Estereo will be in good spirits after being named “the best new band in the world” by MTV show “Iggy” on Monday.

Cultura Profetica, who recorded their fist album at Bob Marley’s Tuff Gong studio in Jamaica, have toured in South America as well as the U.S.

Providence and Don Kristobel round off the talented line up.

Tickets are COP75,000.
