Puerto Rican hip-hop duo Calle 13 have announced plans to collaborate with Colombian singer Toto la Momposina for their new EP, reported El Espectador on Tuesday.

Singer Residente from the Grammy award-winning band used website Twitter to announce Calle 13’s plans for their coming album, which will involve duets and collaborations with some of Latin America’s most respected musicians.

One of those enlisted by the Puerto Rican band was Toto la Momposina, born in Colombia’s northern department of Bolivar and recognized for her traditional Afro-Latin music.

Calle 13 will also be working with other musicians from around the continent, including Brazilians María Rita and Marisa Montes, and Argentian Gustavo Cerati.

The band are expected to release their EP later this year.
