The week-long event brought together 58 artists from around the world, brightening Colombia’s third largest city with 160 glowing murals.
Cali Mayor Rodrigo Guerrero Velasco declared the project a great success and thanked the artists for “their contributions to the beautification of Cali.”
One of the murals dotted throughout the city includes one of Colombian soccer sensation Radamel Falcao. “El Tigre”, as he is affectionately known, apparently loved the piece. “Look at this, street art for you from Cali! I loved it, thank you! My congratulations to the artist!” he Tweeted Monday.

The mural exhibition is one of several projects throughout Colombia that seek to encourage social participation through art.
