Cali launches gastronomy guide

Tourists looking to explore new tastes in Cali can now consult a bilingual directory published by the Colombian Association for Gastronomic Industry (ACRODES).

The guide includes 60 restaurants affiliated with the association, which has more than 110 members from the city. A number of chefs offer samples of their creations at the Intercontinental Hotel.

One word commonly associated with Cali is “sabor” or flavor, and with good reason, given the salsa and spicy flavors one can experience in the city. In recent years, Cali has transformed the traditional residental districts of Granada and Penon to offer new restaurants to tourists.

The directory offers maps of each residential district, and a summary of the dishes prepared at each one along with photos.
