Two bombs exploded Friday morning in Neiva, the capital of the Huila
department. It’s the second time in half a year that the city has been
subjected to attacks with explosives. Nobody was injured.
Around 1:15AM a car bomb exploded in front of a commercial center. The bomb damaged dozens of stores.
The second explosion occurred at the local Postobon factory. Unknown men threw a grenade on the factory premises.
Two bombs exploded in Neiva hotels in October 2008. The authorities blame the FARC for this attack too, but have been unable to arrest any suspects so far.
