Bomb explodes in Arauca: 3 seriously injured

Two soldiers and one minor were seriously injured when a ‘motorcycle bomb’ exploded in the east Colombian department of Arauca Tuesday.

According to local authorities, the bomb exploded around 9AM when an army battalion passed through the village of Tame. Two soldiers and one minor who were in the vicinity were seriously injured, but in stable condition.

The Arauca governor immediately called a meeting of the security council and police stepped up security measures.
