Bolivia crowned Colombia’s new Coffee Queen

Bolivian beauty Ximena Vargas Parada was crowned International Coffee Queen, one of Colombia’s most important beauty pageants.

The bilingual and multi-talented miss, studying Psychology and Fashion Design simultaneously, is from Santa Cruz and will be promoting Colombian coffee after her victory over nearly two dozen other beauties in the city of Manizales.

In an interview with Cali newspaper El Pais, the newly elected Miss said she will not only promote Colombia, but also become more active in campaigning against animal cruelty, “because .. I have seen many people take pity on them here because there is a lot of abuse.”
