Bogotá tourism sector joins forces

Several travel agencies, hotels, Colombia’s international business platform and Universidad del Rosario have joined forces and created one body to be in charge of the Bogotá tourism industry.

The body, Bogotá Travel Network, will try to be the central organization for tourism and give calirity to tourists about the possibilities in Colombia’s capital.

“Our members are trained in marketing strategies and will have the oppurtunity to create better conditions than in other countries,” director Jorge Hernán Gómez of the Center of Business Innovention and Development ofthe Bogotá university says.

The organization will begin combining forces to make Bogotá better known abroad.
