Colombian authorities say they arrested the head of the country’s second largest rebel group while he was in a Bogota bar.
Authorities said they arrested Wilson Eusebio
Garcia Ramirez, aka Juancito, an alleged member of the ELN’s central
command, following a six month investigation.
Juancito is believed to be the commander of
the ELN’s central front and suspected of having led several attacks on
civilians and military targets in Antioquia and of being behind the
kidnapping and the forced displacement of peasants in Antioquia.
