Bogotá mayor admits his mother met DMG director

Bogotá mayor Samuel Moreno admitted Wednesday that his mother had met
with David Murcia, director of suspected money launderer DMG.

According to the mayor, his mother met with Bogotá ombudsman Francisco Rojas Birry and David Murcia as one of the 2,243 she had with political figures.

Bogotá ombudsman is currently being investigated by the Attorney General because he allegedly received 200 million pesos from DMG.

The mayor himself would have benefited of DMG, because the suspected money launderer allegedly partly facilitated the campaign of the Polo Democático mayor.
