Bogota festival books Jamiroquai and Green Day

A new music festival, to be held just outside the Colombian capital Bogota in October, booked U.S. punkrock band Green day and U.K. jazz funk band Jamiroquai for its first edition.

According to the organizers of the Nem-catcoa festival, “Colombia is ready” for an alternative music festival with internationally acclaimed acts.

Apart from the two gringo bands, the festival will feature reggaeton star Tego Calderon and Spanish hip hop singer La Mala Rodriguez.

The festvial will be held on October 9 and 10 in the municipality of Cajica.
