Bogotá cops arrested for setting minors on fire

One Bogotá commander and four policemen were dismissed Monday after allegedly having set two 14-year-old boys on fire.

According to the father of one of the boys, his son was cuffed to a railing, then sprayed with gasoline and set on fire. The boy had been arrested by the policemen after having been involved in a fight.

Bogotá Police chief Rodolfo Palomino said the officers were stationed in the south of the capital. The commander of the four was also dismissed.

The two boys were taken to hospital for burns.
