Bill Clinton to come to Medellín

Former U.S. President Bill Clinton will join other political
heavyweights for the
Inter-American Development Bank (IADB) summit in Medellín on March 28.

IADB president Luis Alberto Moreno told W Radio that the summit will be bigger than any of the previous meetings, not just because of the organization’s 50th anniversary, but also because of the large number of political heavyweights that will be attending the summit.

Among those that will be coming to Medellín are former UK prime minister Tony Blair and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

Medellín imposed rigid security measures to make sure there will be no disturbances during the summit.
