Barranquilla’s Carnival 2017 in photos

Colombia’s Barranquilla has been ablaze over the weekend as the coastal city is celebrating its annual carnival.

Together with Pasto’s Black and White festival, which took place in early January, Barranquilla’s carnival is considered a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity by the United Nation’s cultural agency UNESCO.
