Colombian beauty Natalia Paris: Bad news better than no news

Colombian super-model Natalia Paris adhered to the “Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Kim Kardashian philosophy” that bad publicity is better than no publicity.

In an interview with RCN Radio Wednesday, the sexy paisa said, “It’s better that they speak bad of a person publicly, than saying absolutely nothing.”

Talking about themes of being under the public microscope for most of her adult life the model asserted, “I think it is something in my favor because for some reason I have been led to want to surprise people with truly good things. That they don’t speak [of me] is worse, more for a public person … all the life has been this way and I learned to handle and mock myself in the situation intelligently.”

The model, mother and entrepreneur who admittedly is not afraid to laugh at herself also mentioned that her cosmetics line is expanding to Mexico, Argentina, Panama and Venezuela. She also has aspirations to start her own shoe line.

Natalia Paris might be most widely known for her love affair with the Colombian drug trafficker turned US informant, Julio Cesar Correa alias “Julio Fierro,” who disappeared in 2001. The couple inspired two characters on the hit Colombian soap opera, “El Cartel de los Sapos” (The Cartel of Snitches).

The beauty has started up an acting career with a short roll in the new film “En Coma” directed by Juan David Restrepo.
