Authorities continue to confiscate Murcia’s properties

Colombian authorities confiscated more properties of DMG director David
Murcia Guzmán, they announced on Wednesday. The total value is
estimated at about 10 billion pesos.

Among the properties confiscated are houses, apartments, two cars and 12 pieces of land.

Reportedly, the real estate was registered to Murcia himself, and to several relatives such as his wife and mother, both of whom are currently in custody as well.

Since December, a large amount of Murcia’s properties have been confiscated. According to the government, this was done in order to pay back those that lost money in the supposed pyramid scheme.

Murcia is suspected of several illegal activities, most importantly money laundering.
