Authorities capture FARC intelligence chief

Authorities have captured the alleged intelligence chief of the FARC’s Southern Bloc “Patricia.”

Ninfa Lozada, alias Patricia, was detained in the central eastern department of Casanare and arrested on charges of rebellion and aggravated conspiracy, Caracol Radio reported. The operation was carried out by the Colombian army and the Prosecutor General’s Technical Investigation Team (CTI).

Patricia is the alleged girlfriend of Jose Benito Cabrera Cuevas, alias “Fabian Ramirez,” the FARC’s Southern Bloc leader and member of the Secretariat.
