Authorities arrest 3rd criminal bird in a year

For the third time in one year, Colombian authorities arrest a bird that is involved in criminal activities.

Police in the north-Colombian town of Aguachica, Cesar, arrested a pigeon that allegedly was trying to smuggle a sim-card into the local prison, but got lost..

The pigeon is the second to be arrested in 2011 and the third bird that ends up in custody in the past 12 months. In September last year, undercover police arrested a parrot that was trained to warn drug dealers when spotting policemen.
