Aterciopelados set for 7-stop Spain tour

Acclaimed Colombian rock group Aterciopelados will embark on a seven-leg tour of Spain in June, which is set to be the groups most extensive tour yet of the Iberian nation.

The socially conscious rockers enjoy a wide fan base internationally and will kick-off their summer tour at the Cullar Mestizo Vega festival in the southern city of Granada on June 25.

The next day the Bogotano duo will play at the Latin American MUSAC Exhibition at the opposite end of the country in Leon.

In July, Aterciopelados will perform at the Pirineos Sur de Huesca festival, before going on to play two shows in the Canary Islands.

The tour will culminate in a two show finale at the La Mar de Musicas festival in the south-eastern Spanish city of Cartagena.
