Army kills 6 guerrillas in FARC camp bombing

Colombia news - soldier helicopter

An army bombing of a FARC camp in the south of Colombia killed six guerrillas. Seven rebels were arrested in the following raid.

The attack on the guerrillas took place in the Caqueta department close to the capital San Vicente del Caguan.

The arrested guerrillas all were injured in the attack and after being arrested received medical care from army doctors.

According to the armed forces, the guerrillas were responsible for the May 23 attack that killed nine marines.
