Army catches 16 suspected guerrillas

Colombian armed forces on Sunday arrested sixteen suspected FARC rebels in the east of the country.

According to the army, the suspected rebels were arrested in the Arauca department with the help of intelligence agency DAS and the Prosecutor General’s Office.

The suspects will be indicted for their alleged armed, financial and logistical support to the 10th front of the country’s largest rebel group.
