Colombia’s new President Juan Manuel Santos can count on the approval of 84% of the Colombian people, a survey by CM& Noticias revealed Monday.
According to the newscast, no incoming president has ever had such high approval ratings.
The National Consultancy Center (CNC), which carried out the survey, said it had interviewed a 1,000 men and women of 18 years or older, living in 38 cities in all regions of the country. According to the CNC, the margin of error of the survey is 3.1%.
Santos has been in office since August 7.
