Andres Cabas dedicates new single to flood victims

Colombian singer Andres Cabas dedicates his latest single “Despues de la lluvia” (After the rain) to the victims of the recent floods that devastated the country, Vive.In reported Monday.

The Barranquilla-native returns after a three year absence with his fifth album entitled “Si te dijera” (If I told you), including rhythms that range from reggaeton to Caribbean vibes and featuring an array of collaborating artists such as Andres Calamaro and Vicentico.

The latter, who used to front “Los Fabulosos Cadillacs,” collaborates on “Despues de la lluvia,” which more explicitly evokes a message that permeates the whole album, a message of support for the thousands of victims of the rainy season floods.

This latest offering from the Colombian artist was produced by Argentine Gerardo “Cachorro” Lopez in Buenos Aires and Cabas will be hoping that it ranks alongside former big hits “Bonita,” “Increible” and “Mi Bombon.”
