Third in command of Don Mario gang captured

Hector Fabio Devia Agudelo alias ‘Bryan’, was captured during a police raid in a town in the rural department of the Valle de Cauca, reported Colombian media on Monday.

‘Bryan’ is believed to have asumed a high commanding position throughout the Don Mario organization following the capture of the boss, Daniel Rendon Herrera himself, earlier this year.

According to the director of Judicial Police, the capture of Bryan signifies an important blow to the drug trafficking paramilitary organization as well as a fighting step against the ‘Urabeños’ gang who control the vast majority of the drug trafficking trade in the northern frontiers of Colombia.

‘Bryan’ will stand trial for accustations of terrorism, drug trafficking, arms trading, extortion and conspiracy.
