Stolen Goya found again

Francicso Goya’s ‘Sad Forebodings Of What Will Happen’ was found in
a Bogotá hotel, Colombian authorities said Sunday. The etching was
stolen September 11 from the Gilberto Alzate Avendano Foundation in the
Colombian capital.

According to authorities, two men staying in the Torre Central hotel had been receiving potential buyers for the painting there.

The painting, part of the series ‘Disasters of War’ was stolen fifteen days after it arrived in Bogotá to be exposed to the Colombian public.

No arrests were made.
