Sofia Vergara’s willing to undergo ‘major makeover’ for wedding

Colombian actress Sofia Vergara said Wednesday that she is completely willing to submit to a “major makeover” in order to impress guests at her wedding to businessman and politician Nick Loeb.

Vergara’s current professional commitments and numerous advertising campaigns are keeping her from planning the big day, or setting a date for the wedding, but the TV star already knows she is willing to completely transform her shiny hair in order to match the yet un-purchased wedding dress.

In a statement to People Magazine, Vergara said that she hadn’t previously thought about changing her hairstyle, as her image is so tied to the character she plays on Modern Family: “I couldn’t do it without the permission of my bosses.” However, she did say that she would consider a complete makeover for her day at the alter, and will decide on a hairdo after she settles on the dress.

Although Vergara was clear to point out that her adventurous character draws her toward a radical change in appearance, she admits that long wavy hair looks better on the red carpet, “at least these days”.

“It is possible that one day I will consider a bun, or an up-do for a photo shoot. I don’t rule anything out in this life.”

For now, though, she finds it most comfortable to wear her hair down around her shoulders. What she will do for her wedding day remains a highly anticipated mystery for her fans.

In addition to her role on the weekly comedy series, Vergara has received numerous accolades for her Kmart fashion line, and within the month will come out with her first perfume, “Sofia”.
