Colombian superstar Sofia Vergara won a Screen Actor’s Guild (SAG) award Sunday for her part in ABC’s hit comedy “Modern Family.”
Although Vergara lost her nomination for “Outstanding Performance by a Female Actress in a Comedy Series” to Betty White for her role in “Hot in Cleveland,” she was able to get her hands on the coveted SAG award when the cast of “Modern Family” won best “Ensemble in a Comedy Series.”
Clad in a curve-hugging, royal blue Roberto Cavalli gown, Vergara was able to take the stage at at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California to accept the prize, along with the other members of her “modern family.”
Sofia Vergara was the most nominated Latina this award season.
