Shakira’s ‘Ublime’ can now be liberated online

has become digitized.

A new online video game gives idle fans a chance to rescue the “Ublime” that the Colombian pop superstar mistakenly sang about at the recent Summit of the Americas.

Shakira flubbed her lines while performing Colombia’s national anthem at the presidential gathering — singing about liberating “Ublime” instead of “sublime liberty” — and now the nation is eating it up.

The video game, which can be accessed at http://www.liberenaublime.com/static/game/ublimeAd.swf, invites players to scour the Colombian jungle in search of poor Ublime.

The game was released by Black Mamba Creative Lab after a week-long social media storm and jokes from some of the most prominent Colombians.

Renowned hostage-negotiator Piedad Cordoba joined in on the fun, saying she might be able to help liberate Ublime.

At least Shakira can console herself that she is in impressive company when it comes to high-profile verbal fumbles. Christina Aguilera and Cyndi Lauper both bungled performances of U.S. national anthem “Star-Spangled Banner” at major events last year.

Shakira will also be heartened by her recent nomination for two Billboard Music awards — Top Social Artist and Top Latin Artist.

The Barranquilla superstar will take on Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Eminem, Mana, Pitbull, Prince Royce and Romeo Santos for the awards.

The award show will take place at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand and be broadcast live on Sunday May 20 at 7 PM on ABC.
