Colombia striker Radamel Falcao has caused concern for both his club AS Monaco and the Colombian national soccer team after sustaining an injury on Sunday.

In a match that took place between Monaco and Marseille, the Colombian striker sustained an ankle injury that impeded him to finish the match that Monaco won 2-1.

Falcao, also known as “El Tigre,” was able to score his third goal of the season before being substituted for team mate Emmanuel Riviere, who himself went on to score the winning goal.

Falcao reportedly will find out on Monday if he will be fit enough to take part in Colombia’s world cup play-offs against Ecuador and Uruguay held respectively on Friday and next week.
