Peso weakens 1.5% and stock index falls

The Colombian peso weakened 1.5% against the dollar on Monday, while
stocks fell amid concerns over first-quarter earnings in the U.S. and
growing risk aversion in emerging markets.

The Colombian peso weakened to 2,377.10 to the dollar from COP2,341.98
on Friday, while the IGBC stock index fell 0.7% to 8,041.74 points. (Dow Jones)
