Motorbomb kills two policemen

A motorbomb killed two policemen in the south-western Colombian department of Huila on Sunday evening.

The incident took place in the town of Palermo, ten miles west of department capital Neiva.

According to the police, the policemen were killed while trying to remove a motorbike that had been left behind on the street. The motorbike exploded after the officers had moved the vehicle to a nearby police station.

The police made no comment about who they suspect to be behind the attack.
