Cartagena Film Festival to celebrate Mexico

51st International Film Festival, which opens February 24, will feature Mexico as the guest of honor.

The oldest film festival in Latin America will be a meeting point between industry professionals, critics, journalists, filmmakers and fans to celebrate Latin American cinema.

The “reinvention” of Mexican cinema will be a particular focus this year, including the creations of directors Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, Alfonso Cuaron and Guillermo del Toro.

The International Film Festival of Cartagena de Indias will take place from February 24 to March 3.
