Oscar Tulio Lizcano, the former politicians that knew to escape the
FARC together with guerrilla ‘Isaza’, will meet with Chief Prosecutor
Mario Iguarán Thursday to advocate the best possible judicial outcome
for his former jailor.
Lizcano told newspaper El Espectador that his fellow former hostage Ingrid Betancourt at the same time is pulling strings in France to make sure ‘Isaza’ will be able to receive political refuge in the European country.
‘Isaza’ helped his hostage escape last month after eight years of captivity.
