Colombian pop hero Juanes joined U.S. R&B star John Legend for a
performance during the half time of the NBA All Star Game, broadcast
live in the United States.
The two sang Legend’s 2008 hit ‘If you’re out there’, backed by the Phoenix Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church’ gospel choir and were introduced by U.S. President Barack Obama, who — through a video message — urged Americans to perform community service.
Juanes is one of Colombia’s most famous starsabroad and last week won a grammy award for his latest album. The singer has a foundation that aims to support victims of landmines.
