Gimmick turns Bogota road into Hot Wheels track

A boring overpass in Bogota has been transformed by a life size replica of a Hot wheels race track, as seen in TIME on Tuesday.

Ad agency giant Ogilvy & Mathers has put up the billboard which gives the illusion that there is a hair-raising loop in the road for unlucky drivers on the bridge above.

This incredibly bold advertising pitch by American toy manufacturer Mattel can only be seen in Latin America, presumably because other countries may consider the billboard a dangerous distraction for drivers.
