FARC jailor surrenders

One of the FARC guerrilla who was in charge of guarding hostages like Ingrid Betancourt and the three U.S. military contractors Sunday surrendered to authorities.

‘Angelo’ gave himself in during an army offensive in the south east of Colombia where authorities think the guerrillas are holding more people hostage.

The guerrilla was offered special protection by the armed forces as he is expected to know a lot about the whereabout of hostages still held in the Colombian jungle.
