Families of FARC hostages wait with bated breath for sons’ release

The families of the three Colombians captured by FARC guerrillas last week on Monday said that they expect their loved ones will return home soon.

“I want to [send] my son lots of [strength]…there is only a little time before I see him…all his family and village awaits him with open arms,” said the father of one of the captured soldiers reported radio station Caracol.

On Sunday, the Red Cross said it was “ready” to recieve the imprisoned members of the security forces.

However, on Monday, family members said they had not recieved news from any institution regarding to health of the detained security forces members.
