‘El Cebollero’ wants legal guarantees before he surrenders

Jesus Rendon Hurto alias ‘El Cebollero’, who is accused to be one of
the leaders of the ‘Office of Envigado’ and sought by the Prosecution, wants legal guarantees before he surrenders.

‘El Cebollero’ told El Tiempo Tuesday from hiding that he seeks legal guarantees before he surrenders to the authorities.

Rendon was in police custody until last Thursday, but was released, because the Prosecution failed to charge him on time. The Prosecutor General issued a new arrest warrant for him one day later.
