Congress reviews health status of Colombia’s vice president

Congress reviewed on Thursday the health status of Colombia’s Vice President Angelino Garzon and consequentially his capability to fullfill his official duties.

The vice president, who is still recovering from a stroke he had in June, is being medically examined to discern whether or not he would be able to replace the current president in the event that something happened to Colombia’s President Juan Manuel Santos, reported newspaper El Espectador.
