Colombia’s June exports fall 25% vs. June 08

Colombian exports in June fell 25% compared with the same month a year
earlier to $2.73 billion, the country’s statistics department DANE said
Thursday on its website.

Exports of oil, coal, coffee and ferronickel in June fell 32% from the same month a year ago to $1.54 billion, DANE said.

Total exports over the first half of the year fell 19% to $15.48 billion from $19.06 billion in the same period of 2008.
