Colombian pop singer Santiago Cruz releases the music video for his new romantic single “6 a.m.,” a song about waking up next to the woman he loves.
The video was recorded in Buenos Aires, Argentina over the course of two days, during the singer’s visit to the country as part of a promotional tour.
According to newspaper El Espectador, the song forms part of a larger story, which began with the release of three other songs, “Baja la Guardia,” “Cuando Regreses,” and “Y si te quedas, que?”.
“Upon hearing it, a great friend of mine said to me that the song floated, and I think that is the best description. There are few moments as sublime as waking up next to the woman you love, when the sun begins to enter and you realize that God exists and that he is at your side, so we needed something that captures this moment,” said Cruz.
The singer added that “6 a.m.” is somewhat of a tribute to his producer, Nacho.
