Colombian economy grows 7.52% in 2007

The National Administrative Statistics Department (DANE) of Colombia said in a report that the economic growth last year recorded the nation’s highest in the past three decades thanks to construction and manufacturing industry boom. In 2006, the economy expanded by 6.8 percent.Construction recorded a 13.31-percent growth and manufacturing industry hit 10.62 percent in 2007, both on top of the economic growth list of Colombia.
